Alexis Emma is a Freelance Illustrator who graduated from the School of Art and Design at Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in Illustration. To broaden her skills and grow her knowledge of the arts, she has studied at a variety of prestigious art schools, such as The Art League of Long Island, The Huntington Fine Arts Center and RIT’s School of Art and Design to ensure her training is vast and qualified.

I strive to tell visual stories, and evoke emotions with my art. These are significant qualities I look for in artwork, and I want that to be expressed in my own. Symbolism and metaphors are of huge importance to me. I love when there are hidden meanings within an image and when it can be interpreted in various ways. Even if there isn’t a full story to be told in one of my pieces, my attention is in the details, the colors, and the composition.
